This map has been provided by PGCQE for the purpose of alerting all concerned residents to the exact whereabouts of the site where Ripatti plans to build the proposed ethanol/power generating facility and to outline the 2.5 mile radius surrounding the site that may be subject to evacuation or other precautionary procedures in the event that a dangerous incident should occur at the plant.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THE EVACUATION PERIMETER:
The state of Indiana does not actually require a mandated evacuation area for this facility by law. Our original research indicated that these evacuation perimeters are required due to the dangers involved. However, it turns out that those evacuation perimeters quoted are required in some states, just not in Indiana. Our research was not conducted through radical environmental groups as the Ripatti Group has accused. We got our information from newspapers that were covering other opposition groups. Unfortunately, Indiana does not have the same safety standards regarding ethanol plants that other states have; ANOTHER REASON TO KEEP RIPATTI OUT. However, it is important to remember that the states that do require these precautions do so for a reason. Therefore, the area that is circled on our map is very vulnerable and would still have a very high risk of danger.
